You can’t know what the perfect path will be, you can’t know what the perfect you should be, you can’t know what your purpose in life is until it starts to uncover itself. You can’t know your destination until you get there. So instead of spinning your wheels with the unknowable, focus on what you actually have right in front of you.

Wivan in front of Pont du Gard
The other afternoon we went for a little sightseeing in the rain. This was amazing, really. The place is called Pont du Gard and is located about 25 minutes west of Avignon. It’s an ancient Roman aqueduct bridge that crosses the Gardon River and is on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites.
It’s a huge bridge/aqueduct
This time we didn’t get into the museum, though we’ve heard it’s a really nice one. But the outside part of the place, the actual aqueduct is worthwhile just by itself.
We crossed the bridge and got over to the other side
It’s amazing to see the old building, and to think of how it’s been done
Anders and Wivan in the rain
We did find a path to go up alongside one side of the bridge
Beautiful view of the bridge and the river
The path got more and more narrow
Beautiful setting in the park around Pont du Gard
