Stop in Terceira island

After two flights this morning; Toulouse-Lisboa and Lisboa-Terceira we now have a few hours to spend at this little airport.

We’ve taken a short walk to get some fresh air and see a little of the sourroundings, and are amazed by the fact that people are living in houses just across the street from the entrence of the airport.

And in a roundabout we met a truck with a bull standing on a trailer and laughed a little about how wonderful it is with the country living that seems to be the case here.

So, with two hours time difference we probably need to wait a little longer before having lunch. And then we’ll board the last flight.

  1. Crazy, three flights in a row? That must be some kind of torture!

    • It wasn’t too bad actually! The longest one was 2 hours and 20 minutes, but we had a four hour stop in Terceira, so from door to door it took us about 14 hours or so.

      • Ouh, kind of crazy. I hate long stopovers (especially without a lounge). Stopovers are way more uncomfortable than flying.

      • Yeah, stopovers can be challenging depending on where and how long they are. This one in Terciera was kind of ok since we were able to walk out of the airport – no trains or buses needed, just walking 🙂
