Anders found this video a while ago and now we’ve both watched it. Earlier we’ve heard about Michael Pollan but never read any of his books so this video really was a good insight to his work and what he’s research shows.
That we need to eat proper food instead of “fake food” is something we’ve known for a long time, and after working several years with health, nutrition and real food supplements, it’s always nice to get some new facts and inspiration.
And we happen to be in a great place for this type of inspiration. When living in the French country side, being able to harvest some fresh vegetables from our host’s gardens and shopping most of the food fresh at the local market or in special shops (butcher, bakery, wine store etc), cooking at home makes so much sense. Whenever we’re invited to someones house here, there’s always great home made food – usually three or more courses on the table.
What do you think when you see this video?
